OpenPass API Documentation

OpenPass provides API workflows for creating, distributing, updating, scanning, and analyzing Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes for business loyalty, coupons, tickets, and customer engagement.

Authentication

OpenPass API requests use API keys generated inside the dashboard. Keep keys server-side and rotate them if they are exposed.

Pass creation

Use the pass APIs to create Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes from templates, customer data, and distribution settings.

Distribution

Passes can be distributed with QR codes, email, direct wallet save links, and backend API workflows.

Scanning and analytics

Scanner workflows validate QR codes and record install, scan, redemption, and engagement events for analytics.

Quick start

Send the API key as a bearer token from your server. Replace the placeholders below with the key and template shown during setup.

Never put an OpenPass API key in storefront JavaScript, a mobile application bundle, source control, or browser storage.
